Despite several parlors and expert services available at our fingertips, all women indulge in homemade recipes to maintain a more regulated beauty regime. It has been a practice that women perfected since time immemorial. Even as children you have been advised by your mothers and grannies to prepare the best recipes for different kind of skin.

Homemade facial pack is something in our little kitties that all women are proud and keen to share. Below given is a list of awesome face packs that you can concoct at your home.

Take a couple of carrots grind them and mix it with one tablespoon of honey. Apply it on your skin and let it sit till it dries before washing it with cold water. This prevents wrinkles, provides essential vitamins and balances the oil of your skin making it smooth and healthy.

Avocado Mask

If you want to treat a tan or have dry skin avocado masks are your best solutions. Take ¼ cup of avocado extract mix it with water, 1 egg white and 1 tablespoon of honey. Apply it on your face and let it dry. Wash it off with cold water for a healthy and lighter skin.

Potato Mask

Potato masks are also great to treat bad sunburns and tans. A spoon full of smashed potato paste mixed with half a spoon of yogurt on your skin for 10-15 minutes can do wonders.

Oatmeal Mask

If you want smooth glowing skin oatmeal can do wonders for you. Half a spoon of oatmeal mixed with sufficient milk and water and soaked for a while can make your skin smooth like nothing else.

Tomato Mask

If you have an oily skin try face packs with tomatoes in them. You can either apply a pack made by mixing 1 tomato smashed, half a spoon of dried lemon peel powder, and 2 to 3 drops of lemon juice before washing it off with lukewarm water, or mix one teaspoon of tomato juice with half teaspoon of lemon juice and 3 teaspoon full of honey. Apply this on your skin; let it dry before washing it off with normal water. Doing this twice a week keeps your skin moisturized too.

Wheat Germ Mask

If you want nourishment for you dry and sensitive skin try wheat gram mask. Mix 1 spoon of wheat germ powder with half a spoon of oatmeal, 1 spoon of olive oil, and 1 spoon of fresh milk cream, apply it on your face and then wash it off with lukewarm water.

Olive Oil Mask

Try applying a mixture of 1 spoon of olive oil and half a spoon of lemon juice to your skin for 15 minutes before washing it off with normal water. This gives you a fairer glowing skin as the olive oil regenerates and moisturizes your skin and the lemon juice when used with olive oil brightens your skin tone.

Banana and Papaya Face Pack

Take a ripe banana and mix it with the pulp of an entire papaya thoroughly to make a thick paste. Apply the paste to your face, neck, and arms and let it sit for a while before washing it off with cold water. This will make your skin glow with health.

Trying these different face packs are easy and natural. They will not damage your skin or have any side effects and you will get your desired results. These packs are good for all skin types, however, it is advised to try a little patch test on your skin before full application so that you know what suits your requirements best.
