Make Up For Summer: How To Keep It On?

We have spoken before about some special summer make up tips, and here we want to discuss how to beat the heat this summer and keep your make up on!

If you are one of those who is chary of using make up in summer, read on to figure out how to keep it on and not sweat off your make up; even in summer.

Use a powder base: Your usual foundation, even if it is oil free, make become messy and greasy in the hot summer, and which can result in that freshly fried, shiny egg look.

So it is best to use a powder base, which will stave off the shine and which will also soak up the sweat a bit, leaving the surface of your skin nice and dry.

It is a good idea to use a powder base which contains a SPF (sun protection factor) of 15 and above, so that you are also protecting your skin against sun damage at the same time as putting on your make up.

Use a matte lipstick: A creamy lipstick may look great to begin with, but soon it may not seem like such a good idea when it begins to feather in the summer heat. A matte lipstick will look better and stay on better in the summer heat.
